This project started off with trying to find a solution to make more garage space for our clients vintage VW Vanagon Bus. Being #vanlife fans ourselves, we were more than happy to assist. At the end of the day we ended up building out a two story space with a large bay underneath and an extra bedroom and two bathrooms above. We rebuilt the great room, lifted the roof and put in a gorgeous slider and transform array to capture the amazing light that the site had to offer. All new windows, fireplace, doors, siding, trim, kitchen, envelope upgrades, mechanicals, bathrooms and custom built-ins really brought this 1980’s house into 2020.
